Último "meeting" em Ostrowiec - Polónia

 

O quarto encontro Comenius “Today’s European” realizou-se em Ostrowiec –Polónia entre 24 e 29 de maio de 2015. A escola polaca preparou uma extraordinária receção para os seus parceiros e durante este encontro alunos e professores partilharam momentos de cultura, experiências diversas e divertiram-se em conjunto.

Realizaram-se várias e interessantes atividades: a receção no pátio da escola decorreu de acordo com a tradição polaca onde fomos recebidos com a oferta de pão e sal ao som de canções do folclore local. Seguiu-se um espetáculo de boas vindas que incluiu música e dança por parte dos alunos polacos, gregos e portugueses, uma apresentação em “Powerpoint” sobre o trabalho desenvolvido durante estes dois anos de parceria e uma exposição de fotos sobre atividades locais realizadas pelos diferentes países.

Ao longo dessa semana visitámos a cidade de Ostrowiec, realizámos uma atividade de voluntariado – limpeza da floresta – e visitámos vários locais de interesse como: Stara Dębowa Wola (uma quinta), Świętokrzyskie Mountains, Krzemionki (uma antiga mina) and Bałtów (parque jurássico).

Esta inesquecível semana que os nossos amigos polacos nos proporcionaram terminou com um magnífico jantar de despedida.

 

The fourth “Today’s European” meeting took place in Ostrowiec, Poland from the 24th to the 29th May 2015. The Polish school was the host school and everything was ready to receive the school partners.

Teachers, students (Greek and Portuguese) and local community shared moments of culture, experiences and had fun together. Polish culture, ways of life, food were presented to all the participants.

Several activities were done: welcoming reception at the Polish school with bread and salt and with a traditional Polish song. Inside school we had wonderful performances: Polish dances, a piano presentation by a Greek student and a song sung by the Portuguese students. Afterwards we admired the photo exhibition and the decorations specially done to the occasion. We delighted ourselves with a huge snack offered to the participants.

 

During that week we had a guided visit in Ostrowiec, did a volunteering activity – forest cleaning – and visited many other interesting places: Stara Dębowa Wola ( a farm), Świętokrzyskie Mountains, Krzemionki (an old mine) and Bałtów (the Jurassic park).

We were magnificently hosted by our Polish friends and the week ended with a great farewell dinner.
