Um dia na Quinta Pedagógica




Os alunos passearam na burra Ernestina

Para terminarmos as atividades deste ano letivo, no nosso Club Comenius fomos passar um dia `Quinta Pedagógica do Pomarinho, pertencente à Associação APCE.

As atividades desenvolvidas ao longo do dia 6 de junho, tiveram um carácter lúdico-pedagógico associado a uma vertente de voluntariado.

No espaço da quinta fomos amavelmente recebidos por todos os que lá trabalham, desde a educadora de infância, Luísa Monteiro, aos senhores que exercem a manutenção do espaço e a três jovens de cursos vocacionais que se encontram a realizar o seu estágio.

O nosso grupo teve assim oportunidade de escovar duas  burras, a Amélia e a Albertina, que pachorrentamente nos levaram a passear, fazer pão (amassar, moldar e cozer), fazer queijo fresco, realizar um peddy paper didático e ajudar na pintura de um quiosque que será utilizado na quermesse de S. António, a realizar naquele espaço.

Depois de tantas e tão intensas atividades, nada melhor do que comer o nosso pão acabadinho de sair do forno com o queijo fresco feito por nós.

Ainda restou tempo para usufruir das diversões disponíveis no espaço.

Foi sem dúvida uma boa forma de terminar um ano letivo pleno de trabalho. No próximo ano letivo, contamos continuar a nossa parceria com a Associação APCE e desenvolver outras atividades.

 

A day at the pedagogical farm of Pomarinho

The school year is coming to an end and to commemorate it the Club Comenius members spent the 6^th of June at the Pomarinho Farm, which belongs to the APCE Association.

There the students did several activities, volunteering work and had fun.

First they had the opportunity of combing two nice donkeys and had a ride on them. For some of them it was the first time on a donkey. They learned how to make bread and cheese. They actually did fresh bread and ate it with the tasty cheese made by them.

For the volunteering activity students painted a kiosk which it’s going to be used on the 13^th of June, St. Anthony’s day.

At the end of the day students participated in a Peddy Paper game to learn more about the farm and nature. They still had time to enjoy all the amusements provided by the facilities.

It was a well spend day in The APCE Farm (Cerebral Paralysis Association) with whom Comenius Club will continue to work next school year.

ENCONTRO COMENIUS em MYTILENE GRÉCIA

Entre 03 e 09 de maio de 2014, professores e alunos da Escola Básica de Santa Clara participaram num encontro de trabalho, com parceiros gregos, espanhóis e polacos, na escola 9th Primary School, na ilha de Lesvos.

Durante este período travou-se conhecimento com jovens e adultos, pais e agentes da comunidade. A cultura e os costumes gregos foram ponto de interesse e descoberta.

A comparação entre os sistemas educativos e as práticas pedagógicas, uma constante das nossas discussões, permitiram um melhor conhecimento de cada uma das realidades em presença.

 Os alunos e os professores participaram em atividades previamente programadas, o projeto foi reavaliado e acordaram-se e calendarizaram-se novas tarefas.

O ambiente mereceu a atenção de todo o grupo que, voluntariamente, levou a cabo a limpeza de uma das praias de Mytilene.

Noutros pontos da ilha, visitaram-se alguns locais de interesse, entre os quais se destaca o belo Museu da Floresta Petrificada.

 

 

 

No próximo ano letivo, em Outubro, Évora e a Escola de Santa Clara receberão os parceiros envolvidos neste projeto.

 

Second Meeting - Mytilene – Greece

The second “Today’s European” meeting took place in Mytilene, Greece from the 3rd to the 9th May 2014. The Greek school was the host school and everything was ready to receive the school partners.Teachers, students (Greek, Portuguese and Spanish), parents and local community shared moments of culture, experiences and fun together. Greek culture, ways of life, food were presented to all the participants.

 

 

 

 

 

Several activities were done: photos exhibition; visit to the school with a wonderful performance by the students and a huge snack provided with the collaboration of the parents’ association; visit to the town of Mytilene; a volunteering activity – beach cleaning; visit to the Petrified Forest Museum and other interesting places in the island and a great farewell dinner.

In this meeting we did the “Poster competition”. All the partners presented its winner poster and the most representative one was chosen. The Polish poster was selected to represent the project. The revaluation of the project was done and some decisions were taken.
